Melissa Fitzpatrick
Pilates Instructor
Melissa Fitzpatrick brings a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and mindful movement to Tree of Life Pilates. Her background in gymnastics and collegiate cheerleading laid the foundation for strong body awareness, control, and leadership through movement.
Melissa holds a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and spent over 17 years in healthcare, including bedside nursing, emergency, home health, and outpatient pulmonary care. Throughout her career, she found deep fulfillment in connecting with others and guiding patients toward improved quality of life. She later stepped away from clinical practice to focus on family and her own health, where she discovered the Pilates system of movement as the perfect blend of functional strength, mindfulness, and breath.
Teaching Pilates became a natural extension of Melissa’s life’s work. She received Balanced Body Pilates training under the guidance of Lolita San Miguel Pilates Master, Patricia Welter, along with STOTT-certified instructor and studio owner Catherine Byron. Melissa is passionate about empowering clients to build strength, balance, and mind-body connection—supporting them in living well today and for many years to come.
